Who lives in Sandbanks?
The Exclusive holiday resort of Sandbanks in Dorset, England, is home to many celebrities and famous faces. It’s one of the most sought after places to live in Britain with most properties on the peninsula now worth millions. The Dorset waterfront area has the fourth most expensive land value in the the world.
One of our current and most famous residents is football manager and former “King of the Jungle” Harry Redknapp, who lives on the Sandbanks Peninsula with his lovely wife Sandra.
Other famous residents include:
- Tony Pulis – former Stoke City Manager (who also managed our local team AFC Bournemouth).
- Graeme Souness – retired footballer and manager, now media commentator.
- Jamie Redknapp – retired footballer, now media commentator (also played for AFC Bournemouth when his father was manager)
- Celia Sawyer – dealer on Four Rooms on Channel 4) and presenter of Your Home in Their Hands on BBC1)
Harry Redknapp also recently presented a new TV show: Harry Redknapps Sandbanks Summer, which aired on ITV in Feb 2020. Over four episodes, he opened up his life and his home to viewers whilst also exploring the delights that Sandbanks – often called the Britain’s ‘Palm Beach’.
